Mr. Erhardt’s career has focused exclusively on consumer products. Prior to joining MIG USA, Erhardt served for 8 years as Global General Counsel for Market America, a Greensboro, NC health and wellness company specializing in direct sales of dietary supplements, personal care goods, and cosmetics.  Before that, Erhardt spent 6 years as EVP and General Counsel for Princeton, NJ and Brussels, Belgium based GS1, the global supply chain solutions organization best known for operating the bar code system. Previous to his role at GS1, Clem was General Counsel to a consortium of gas appliance manufacturers, whose collaborative work led to the first major redesign and product launch of water heaters in 30 years. Earlier in his career, Clem was a partner in the Washington and Baltimore offices of two major law firms - McGuireWoods, and Miles & Stockbridge, where he specialized in regulatory compliance. Clem also served as General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. He holds an MBA and a BA from Loyola University, and a JD from the University of Baltimore.
